Born and educated in Poland, Marek moved to the UK in search of opportunities and the freedom to express himself — both in his work and personal life.

With an entrepreneurial mindset, he started as a sole trader, offering his services to large construction firms. Through this experience, he observed and learned the intricate dynamics of live construction sites.

Driven by ambition and the desire to create something of his own, Marek founded Convert.

“I wanted to build something that wasn’t just about business, but about creating spaces that make a difference in people’s lives,” he says. What started as an idea has grown into a company built on his passion for designing spaces that work for people. His journey from those early days to where he is now has been shaped by a love for design and a commitment to quality.

Outside of work, Marek has a deep love for rugby. The sport has taught him about teamwork, resilience, and staying focused — lessons that he brings to both his business and everyday life.
