A full refurbishment of a modern 4-bedroom townhouse apartment in London’s borough of Fulham, designed to meet the needs of a bachelor businessman.

Challenges
One of the key challenges we faced was the integration of many shadow gaps between different finishes. These gaps, while seemingly minor details, play a crucial role in achieving a clean, modern look. They require precise execution and attention to detail to ensure a seamless transition between different materials and finishes.
Balancing the need for open spaces with the need for different activity areas within the same space was also a challenge. We had to ensure that the open-plan design did not compromise the functionality of the space, and that each area was clearly defined while still maintaining a sense of openness.

Our approach at Convert-Construction was to create a space that was not just aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and conducive to a comfortable lifestyle. We consulted the Client at every stage, making sure our goals are aligned and provided many useful tips and solutions.
We introduced a large window seat at the rear of the property, a unique feature requested by the client to connect the home with the outside. We also preserved and highlighted the original character of the apartment by exposing original ceiling throughout.

The result is a beautifully refurbished luxury apartment that is both modern and homely. The extensive use of structural glass has added spatial interest and filled the house with light. The property was finished to a high standard, reflecting the Client’s personality and vision.
