Our Solution

We retained original arches and staircase to celebrate the building’s character, while adding a sleek glass extension using screw pile foundations and a suspended slab. Glass panels were craned over four storeys. The modern timber-clad garden studio, added mid-project, uses Japanese yakisugi cladding with a birch ply interior and eco green roof.

The Results

A striking mix of old and new. More daylight, better flow, and a modern garden studio that’s anything but a shed — all tailored to the family’s evolving needs.
